About Us

ReNew U Therapy & Wellness was built to close a gap we kept seeing in our community. Too often, getting help means driving all over town, telling your story to one stranger after another, and feeling more like a case number than a person. We wanted to do it differently. So we brought a wide range of behavioral health services together under one roof, to lower the barriers that keep people from care and to make sure that when you walk through our doors, you’re treated like a human being, not a transaction.

You’ll find a lot of people here ready to support you: counselors, case managers, nurse practitioners, peer supporters, transportation drivers, and administrative staff who greet you by name. Many of us have walked our own roads through recovery and mental health challenges, and we carry that lived experience with us in the way we show up for you. It’s woven into our mission, our vision, and the way we treat one another and the people we serve. This is personal to us.

Under one roof, we offer Spravato, Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD), peer support, Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), substance use aftercare, individual counseling for both mental health and substance use, relapse prevention groups, and medication management. Bringing these services together means your care can move with you as your needs change, without the gaps and handoffs that so often cause people to fall through the cracks.

Most of all, we meet you where you are in your journey. Wherever you’re starting from, whatever you’ve been through, there’s room for you here. Maybe that’s why what we hear most from the people we serve is also the simplest thing: that they feel safe here. That’s the whole point. Healing has a way of beginning once you finally feel safe enough to let it.

We’re proud to call Youngstown, Ohio home, and many of our services are also available through telehealth for clients across the state. We believe good care should be within reach, so we accept Ohio Medicaid, Ohio MyCare, most commercial and private insurance plans, and self-pay.
